CLOSURE OF LEAGUE

AT A MEETING HELD ON THE 2Oth JANUARY 2002 HELD AT THE HEYROD CON CLUB AT 12-15pm AND ATTENDED BY THE FOLLOWING MEMBER TEAMS

IT WAS DECIDED THAT AS THERE WERE ONLY THREE TEAMS WHO HAD NOT CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAD JOINED ANOTHER LEAGUE. IT WAS DECIDED THATY THE LEAGUE COULD NOT CONTINUE WITH 3 TEAMS DESPITE EVERY EFFORT BY THE COMMITTEE TO RECRUIT NEW TEAMS, SO THE STALYBRIDGE 501 LEAGUE WILL CLOSE DOWN AFTER THE PRESENT SEASON IS CONCLUDED.

It was decided that by the member teams present that it would be more beneficial to all teams if the league closed officially after this meeting. However it was decided that the finals of the Team KO and VP Shield should take place on the 21^st January 2002 and that the individuals and pairs should be abandoned, this was agreed by all members present so as of midnight on the 21^st January 2002 the Stalybridge 501 League will be totally closed down.

THE COMMITTEE FOR ALL TEAMS TO ATTEND ONCE ALL FINANCIAL UNDERTAKINGS HAVE BEEN COMPLETE WILL CONVENE A MEETING.

CAN I TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK ALL THE MEMBERS PAST AND PRESENT OF THE STALYBRIDGE 501 LEAGUE FOR THEIR HELP AND LOYALTY OVER THE PAST 24 YEARS
